About Nate

Nate Wiger is composed of equal parts beer, wine, and music, and has been known to do some computer-related stuff to pay the bills.  Of course, with the increasing occurrence of government-sponsored bailouts, there may well be a great opportunity for early retirement. But until then, Nate is primarily employed as a Sr Technical Manager at PlayStation, where he oversees the development team responsible for creating a next generation online framework.  Don’t ask questions about it, they can’t be answered, unless you like the insides of cold, deep, dirt holes.

Nate’s married to a cute human of the female persuasion, but Sarah requested I not mention her name since the internet is watching us. Crap.

Beyond that, there’s time spent maintaining BeerLabels.com, which is in fact the largest collection of beer labels in the entire universe. That’s a verifiable fact. Nate used to be the guitarist and singer for the San Diego band No Means Maybe until it went belly-up due to the drummer getting a better job and the bassist going back to college. Where are peoples’ priorities??

And then there’s the Perl FormBuilder module, which is a bit obsolete now that Ruby on Rails has taken over everything (which is wonderful, BTW). The Perl guys went off into ludicrous la-la land 5 or 6 years ago, so thank god the language is finally dead.

Anyways, f you’re really feeling spunky, check out our Paris Vacation Pics from a few years ago as they’re quite entertaining.
